Grips for the Bars
Current October 30, 2023 – Nb
Grips take a long time to break in. Swinging from the bar and time is the best way to accomplish this, long before using them for skills or routines. It is highly recommended to have two sets that are broken in. If one set fails, it is ideal to have another set which can be used immediately.
Be sure to also buy (or have) wrist bands.
Please WAIT to order grips until your coach recommends it. If you have any questions, please reach out.

There are measuring guides so you can order the correct size.
Experienced team parents have shared that they found it beneficial to have a spare set of tiger paws, wrist bands, etc, and to be sure to wash them regularly 🙂
Another pro-tip? Always have an extra leotard or athletic clothes packed in your gymnast’s gym bag.
