Team pictures – if your daughter hasn’t already, or you would like re-takes, please have her photo taken at Tot Shots on Evergreen near Sprague Avenue in Spokane Valley. This is for the team picture collage.

Please have your daughter wear proper training apparel. As a friendly reminder: for girls, the best dress from the standpoint of instruction is a leotard. A leo allows us to see exactly what position a child’s body is in, the better to make corrections. It also gives the instructor a good grip if the need to spot (take hold of the child) should arise. Please no belts, buckles, snaps, zippers, or jewelry. Please no bare midriff, if sports bras and shorts are preferred by the student, then a fitted tank top or t-shirt must be worn as well. Hair shoulder length or longer must be tied back, and each student should arrive at training with their own mask. If any individuals do not have one, we have complimentary masks at the service, but please do not count on that supply each day.

Please do not coach your kids from the sidelines at training or competitions. If you have any questions, please connect with your child’s coach after training.

At the meets, please arrive at the designated time, not too early, not too late
Please do not take pictures or videos of gymnasts from other gyms at meets
Once the gymnasts are out on the competition floor, they remain with their team and coaches for the entire session, NOT going to their parents

We do not have team Open Gym on Saturdays now through May since we have competitions most weekends.

Secret Sister – all season long, then a big reveal at the end-of-season parties. It does not need to be associated with meets or involve big or elaborate gifts. Small notes of encouragement, etc. You can give items to Kourtnie at the service desk or discretely to the coach, who will distribute them. Random, fun surprises are the intention.

Big Sister Little Sister – we are waiting until COVID numbers decrease; we are trying to keep kids and teams as spread out as possible.

Please use our TEAM email account. The email address is: team@spokanegymnastics.com (unless you have a specific question that only Nadine can handle). The system-generated automated emails, such as receipts, may still show from Nadine, but for the fastest service, please use team@spokanegymnastics.com. We have dedicated staff available to assist (even on weekends), while Nadine has competitions every weekend now through mid-April.
