Spokane Gymnastics’ covid return to play process

After a positive test, the athlete is to quarantine for 5 days from the day of the positive test. On day 3 of quarantine, the athlete can start the return to play process while supervised by a parent only if they are asymptomatic or have mild symptoms. If they have moderate symptoms they may start after 24hrs of their last day of symptoms. If they have severe symptoms, then they need a doctor’s note to clear them for activity and will need to complete the 5 day RTP (Return to Play)

Return to Play Process

Day 4: first day back to in personal practice, 75% of practice half court light contact
Day 5: full practice no restrictions other than athletes’ ability to play

This may be a longer process depending on the severity of the symptoms and how the athlete is feeling
