Annual Membership Fees
Each gymnast enrolled in classes also pays an annual membership fee:
Child membership fee ———— $30
Family membership fee ———- $45
The membership is valid for one year from the date of registration. Membership is required to take classes at Spokane Gymnastics and provides many benefits, including discounts for all of our programs.
To register for a class before the session begins, a deposit of $50 per child per class is required, which is then deducted from the total tuition due.
Spokane Gymnastics provides 10% multiple sibling discounts for children enrolled in classes, in addition to 5% discount if the student’s parent is active or retired military or a first responder (law enforcement, firefighter, or EMT).
Spokane Gymnastics classes run year-round. We have three 13-week sessions (Fall, Winter, and Spring) and one 10 or 8-week Summer Session that roughly parallels the Spokane District 81 school schedules. Students may start at any time and pay for the total amount of classes remaining in the session, after the 2nd week of the session (make-up classes will be provided if registering within the first two weeks of any session). Tuition payments accepted include: check (made payable to Spokane Gymnastics); cash; VISA or MasterCard. For returned checks there will be a $35 processing fee.
Tuition is due on or before the first class of each session, and a $50 deposit is required to save a spot in each class (pre-register for a future session), with the balance due prior to the first class. If registering mid-session, full payment is required to register. The $50 credit will be held in the student’s account if un-enrolled prior to two weeks before the first class and may be used for any services or apparel at Spokane Gymnastics. A fee of $25 will be charged if less than two weeks’ notice is given for dropping the class before the session starts or if a student is unenrolled mid-session. Spokane Gymnastics offers the option of monthly payments through our “Auto-Pay” system; where we process three payments to a Visa or Mastercard at the beginning of the month. There is a $10 fee for auto-pay, per family, per session. If enrolling in auto-pay you are still committing to, and responsible for, full session of payments.
If a student is withdrawn from existing classes mid-session, then a credit for tuition, minus a $25 cancellation fee (per student) is held on the family’s Spokane Gymnastics account for future services. Please communicate immediately if there is a need to change any registration and we will do our best to provide solutions and accommodate you. The credit for classes the student will no longer attend will include classes or services that Spokane Gymnastics can then provide to another student, a minimum of 24 hours before start time.
Credits may be granted on an individual basis at the sole discretion of Spokane Gymnastics management. If requested Spokane Gymnastics may extend special accommodation by way of a refund ONCE to a family, but repeat refunds will NOT be provided and manager approval is required to enroll in future Spokane Gymnastics programs if a refund is granted.
If Spokane Gymnastics needs to close again due to COVID:
If Spokane Gymnastics needs to shut down before being able to provide classes for a session or month, then the full credit of what was paid will be held on the family’s Spokane Gymnastics account. The non-refundable surcharge will be held on each family account and will be applied to future sessions. All families are given the option of just paying $50 per child per class for sessions of gymnastics, or one-month in advance for month-to-month. The balance for tuition is not due until the first day of class.
Just as before, no one will ever pay for services that Spokane Gymnastics is not able to provide. In the event of a shutdown, 100% of all payments made for classes not provided will immediately be held as credits on each family account.
If tuition is paid in full, then credit for whatever classes have not been provided will be held on each family’s account. If the closure is less than 30 days, then all credits and accounts will be frozen, but as always, no one will ever pay or be charged for services that Spokane Gymnastics is not able to provide. If closure is more than 31 days, then all credits held on family accounts will be given a 20% incentive bonus.
If a refund is requested for a deposit or tuition paid, then 100% of tuition for all classes not yet provided (no matter attendance) will be refunded via check. The phase surcharges and annual membership fees are non-refundable.
Please note, if requested Spokane Gymnastics may extend special accommodation by way of a refund ONCE to a family, but repeat refunds will NOT be provided.
In an effort to accommodate our students’ and families’ schedules, we give the option of signing up for all ten weeks of classes or a flexible session of eight, six, or four weeks of gymnastics. Students still sign up for a specific day and time, and parents indicate the preferred duration when enrolling. Since we take attendance, students are not required to attend consecutive classes but may simply show up for the number of classes registered for and enjoy the flexibility of the Summer Session at Spokane Gymnastics!
