Holly Power

 

Holly is from Spokane, WA and graduated from SCC with a business degree. She was a competitive gymnast up until high school, which is the time she began coaching. She has been coaching for over 20 years and has coached all levels of instructional and team classes through level 10. Some of Holly’s coaching experience includes teaching Academic Preschool with Active Life Learning at Dynamic for 5 years, coaching TOPs for 3 years, coaching high school gymnastics at Lewis and Clark High School for 6 years, and working as the Boy’s Gymnastics Coordinator for team and recreational programs for 4 years. Holly started coaching Team Gymnastics at Spokane Gymnastics in 2022 where she focuses on coaching the Men’s Team, Levels 5-10, and Xcel Platinum and Diamond. She is also the Head Coach at the team gym. Her favorite age group to coach is high school and favorite events to coach are beam for girls and parallel bars for boys. She describes her coaching style as fun, relaxed, and personalized for the benefit of each athlete. Holly does Mental and Life Skills Training with every team she coaches to prepare them to become happy, healthy, successful adults when they go out into the world. 

A fun fact about Holly is that on a stressful day, she finds Rock music to be the most calming and soothing.
