Simon Hill

Simon grew up in Spokane, WA and graduated from Valley Christian School. Simon has been doing flips and tricks for over 15 years! He began his gymnastics journey at age four in Instructional Gymnastics and later competed up to Level 6. While participating in various school sports, he continued to grow his gymnastics skills. He especially loves the sport of gymnastics for building body awareness and mobility- skills that helped him excel across all the sports he played. Simon has a strong background working with children. He’s helped lead AWANA at New Hope Bible Church, volunteered with Explorer Camps and Outdoor Games Camp, and gained even more experience growing up alongside his five siblings. He joined Spokane Gymnastics as a Gymnastics Coach in 2025 and enjoys working with students of all ages. His favorite event to coach is Floor because of the wide variety of skills that can be learned. Simon describes his coaching style as high-energy and encouraging. He believes in bringing out the best in each student through positive reinforcement and respectful redirection when needed.

In his free time, Simon loves being active and outdoors. Some of his favorite hobbies include basketball, ultimate frisbee, and mountain biking—but flipping will always be his favorite! A fun fact about Simon: he’s passionate about sharing the love of Christ in everything he does.
