Lauren is from Spokane, WA and graduated from Western Washington University with a degree in Elementary Education. Lauren has been doing gymnastics for 17 years! She competed up to Xcel Diamond and also competed on Mt. Spokane’s varsity gymnastics team in high school. Lauren currently competes in adult gymnastics at Chasing Gravity. She loves practicing Bars and competing on Floor. Lauren’s experience working with kids includes five years of coaching and two years of teaching in a classroom setting. Lauren is currently a substitute teacher, primarily in the Mead School District. She started coaching at Spokane Gymnastics in 2026 and enjoys working with all ages, but ages 9-12 are her favorite. Her favorite event to teach is Bars. Lauren describes her coaching style as engaged, fun, and detail-oriented. She wants her students to have a blast in gymnastics class while focusing on proper skill development.  

Outside of Spokane Gymnastics, Lauren loves to read and play with her cats. A fun fact about Lauren is that she can wiggle her ears!
